For example, time ago I wrote about the missing date timestamp in the pictures attached to mail messages by this camera.

This being the most important, there are other issues.

Therefore, if the detection itself has the same weakness and constrictions as in previous models (the 'right' position to be detected and so on), you'll get a better 'classification' of what is detected, but no a 'more accurate' detection. What is worse, *if* it detects a motion, *then* it will surely do its best to classify it as 'person' or 'vehicle', yes. Yes, it has some person/vehicle detection but it seems to be based in the same old PIR sensor, which means that battery drainage remains as before.

Then, after some episodes of full battery drainage and 'vanishing' intruders, and already having some AI cameras with person/vehicle detection I'm very satisfied with, I decided to purchase an Argus 3 4MP conviced that it would keep some good things available in the Argus 2 although much improved with new features, but the reality is that after some time of use I'm rather dissatisfied. no branches, no wind, no shadows, persons walking only in the 'right' direction, not towards the camera nor sideways, but in the 'right' angle and at the 'right' speed, and so on. In my case, their image quality is enough for the spot where I use them, but both responsiveness and battery drainage are a bit weak to say the least, unless they are used in ideal, slighty less than utopic circumstances, i.e. I have a couple of Argus 2 and, yes, I do agree with your comments. I wish if the cameras was still detecting a person but the PIR didn't see the person it would continue to record. The only thing I wish they'd change is that currently (from my experience) if the PIR stops detecting something, but the person/vehicle is still in frame it will stop recording at the selected time frame. I'd suggest one to almost anyone, as long as you follow the rules of PIR and solar you could have a camera wherever forever. The wifi range for them isn't as good as a camera with external antennas however I don't think it's expected to be. I have some shaded areas that my PIR likes to detect as motion however with the AI I don't get notified of it, and it's on solar so turning on for 30min every day really doesn't affect it nor me. The spot light is very bright and the video quality of 2k is more than good enough for a battery camera with PIR (IMO) I have 2 Argus 3 Pro's, one I use on my shed and one I use (sometimes) at my front door.
